Ranking the Programs Reaction


ESPN.com put out an interesting article this morning titled Ranking the Coaching Jobs.  It really can be translated though as Ranking the Programs.  Here is a link to the article:

There isn't much to argue with at the top.  North Carolina and Duke are the gold standards of the conference.  If I were to make my own list, I would move Georgia Tech down.  They have a very fickle fan base and an unproven record of success over the last 10 years.  I might actually put them as low as 10 or 11.  The one school that I think is low is Clemson.  They have had a much better track record as of late and Littlejohn Coliseum is a pretty good environment.  I don't know that South Carolina is a big hotbed for basketball players but they should be able to out-recruit the University of South Carolina.

Anyway, kudos to ESPN for an interesting list and something to debate about in the offseason.
